Marketing Plan

I plan on advertising our film through trailers, posters and billboards. In addition, I will be posting promotional images and short clips from the movie on social media. The will be a trailer for this film and it will consist of shots of Sheaves and Vance walking to the park and playing Forrest. There will be eerie incidental music playing through the majority of the trailer. For the scenes that show Forrest popping up and stalking the two friends, the will be a suspenseful and sound effects to make it more dramatic. In addition to this there will be clips with just words to describe how the movie will one of the biggest thrillers released around Halloween time. Another method of advertising would be to broadcast the release of the film on the radio. The objective here would be to entice the listener with an speaker who is announcing the mystery that is a "must-see" at the theaters.

These two screenshots are directly from the Instagram account that we created to promote out product. The first one shows that is the official account for the movie and not a fan-made one. The second screenshot shows a clip from the film where Forrest is creepily following Sheaves and Vance. This serves as another method to remind the viewer about the movie.
