During the first two minutes, there are clips of someone writing in a notebook and stitching something together. Insert shots are commonly used. There are also photographs of close ups on people that this person is analyzing. The shots are all zoomed in on the person's hands and paperwork, so nothing about the person is revealed. Incidental music is used and the music is very enticing and unpleasant. The transitions between shots are glitchy and contains scratched up frames. The combination of these techniques makes the mood seem very eerie and dark. In the opening credits, the producers names, director, leading actors, and other important job titles are listed. The budget for Se7en was 30 million dollars it collected 327 million from the box office. This movie won the award for best villain and the circle award for best actor of the year.
